"If you really listen, reflect and nurture... people work through their thoughts, look at things differently, and make change happen."

Emily Wallace

Executive coach and mentor

I work with people to make change happen. It's a real adventure of growth that provides great understanding from many perspectives. I am driven most by change that supports sustainable ways of thinking and doing, for ourselves and the world around us. Whether it's through coaching & mentoring, producing creative communications, or consulting to support transformation across an organisation - my focus is to build strengths through understanding, engagement, capabilities and change-embracing behaviours. This in turn helps people create, analyse, design, reengineer, implement, communicate, control and embed the ideas, systems, processes and initiatives to drive themselves and their organisations forward.

My background

I feel lucky to have had a such a varied career working across many industries and sectors, including: Information Technology & Cyber Security, Critical National Infrastructure (Energy & Telecommunications), Public Sector BPO, large-scale events, Supply Chain & distribution, and others. Working with small and large scale enterprises to support digital/cultural/operational transformation solutions in such a variety of settings has given me wide insight, learnings, strengths, and awareness. Through mentoring and coaching I get to share these, along with best practice, to help others on similar journeys. I am passionate about supporting people and teams through times of change as well as working towards balanced, inclusive business ecosystems. For me, this means championing sustainability and belonging, sharing skills, simplifying ways of working - and helping others to do the same.

Working with The Capability Farm gives me a fantastic opportunity to do all of this, alongside a great team of diverse, skilled and awesome colleagues!

What does coaching mean to me?

In my experience, Coaching is.a relationship of growth that helps both people build awareness, strength and clarity. It's offering people the space to think and the time, tools and support to grow. By really focussing on insight and actions, reflecting, and moving forward - coaching conversations are based around truly listening, and sharing useful frameworks that aid both creative and critical thinking.

If you really listen, reflect and nurture... people work through their thoughts, look at things differently, and make change happen.

Who am I?

I am at my happiest outdoors (especially with our ducks, geese, chickens, dog and cat) and love the benefits of working outside whenever I can. Music is a big thing in my life, I play the guitar a bit, mainly to a feathered audience, and look forward to starting a barn band! Creative arts (drawing, painting, sculpting) are also a key focus for me, as is reading & research, and learning something new every day. I'm driven most by growing capabilities that cultivate sustainable change, in myself, and the world around us.
