"Coaching is the opportunity to accompany interesting people on their journey of change."

“Success comes from being who we are in right relationships, and finding ways of giving expression of who we are through positive engagement with those around us.”
A long career as an accountant, consultant and researcher, working across sectors and across the world has revealed to me that anything is possible. Working with people to realise their hopes and dreams has been and remains my pleasure and privilege. Innovative, creative solutions and strategies in even the most complex situations became my passion from early days in corporate recovery and development.
My background
I come from a multidisciplinary background, where many timely opportunities and the support of others have enabled me to excel. A long career as an accountant, consultant and researcher, working across sectors and across the world has revealed to me that anything is possible, thankfully.
Innovative, creative solutions and strategies in even the most complex situations became my passion from early days in corporate recovery and development. I have run my own professional practice since 1981, and continue to work to find and implement solutions with leaders, seniors, and through teams (often within partnerships). I have worked at all levels and in the business, charitable and public arenas to face challenges, develop potential and improve performance. Often leading change project teams to address challenges and optimise strategic opportunities, I have a successful track record in agriculture, construction, manufacturing, retail and transport; disaster relief, human rights, civil liberties and community development; and public admin, finance and policy work.
I have always enjoyed bringing diverse people and views together to achieve great things. On a personal level, my main motivation is to help others realise their personal and professional potential.
What does coaching mean to me?
Working with people to realise their hopes and dreams has been and remains my pleasure and privilege. My greatest joy is to see others succeed as individuals. teams and organisations. Their vital uniqueness combines with seemingly endless possibilities to suggest different ways of achieving their goals. Such breakthroughs can come quickly through ‘eureka’ moments, or can gradually become clear, or can emerge through patient exploration and reflection. All stages of our journeys can be enriched by coaching and mentoring.
Who am I?
I have always liked people and enjoyed bringing diverse views together to achieve optimal results. I am amazed by the potential and insight that lies within people, often latent or hidden. Leading, managing, teaching, training and support work across many sectors has equipped me to coach and mentor clients confidently and yet sensitively to achieve their full potential. I love to learn, read, watch films, spend time with family and friends and to spend time in the great outdoors.
